A bicycle game that really works without internet is easier to find if you know what to look for. Made by Pepi Pepi Pepi. A casual halfpipe trick game with unlockable characters and locations. The listing says it is playable offline. Free, with in-app purchases to remove ads and buy coins.
BMX Bike Race - Bicycle games
Made by Fun Puzzle Games. A garage with bike, helmet and outfit customization, time trials, daily challenges and leaderboards. The listing mentions offline racing, and also multiplayer and leaderboards, which need a connection. It contains ads and has larger in-app purchases, so read the purchase list first.
Bicycle Stunts: BMX Bike Games
Made by Supercode Games. 15 missions in three chapters, eight bicycles and eight riders. The offline mode is mentioned in the release notes of a 2024 update, not in the main description. It has ads and several in-app purchases.
OffRoad Mountain Bike
Made by RHM Interactive. Mountain bike maps with four bike models and a customization store; the listing says no internet connection is required. Its latest version on the listing dates from 2021, so check that it still runs on your phone.
A well-known game that does not say
Touchgrind BMX 2 has no offline statement on its App Store listing, and its rankings, duels and progress sync are built around a connection. That does not mean it fails offline; test it in airplane mode if offline play matters to you.
